Developed by cosmetic dermatologist Howard Sobel, DDF Ultra-Lite Oil-Free Moisturizing Dew is a lightweight facial moisturizer that uses aloe vera, grapeseed extract and vitamins A, E and C, to restore surface hydration to your skin and fight signs of aging. It is a good moisturizer for normal to slightly oily skin, and, since it doesn't contain fragrance or color additives, it is also great for sensitive skin.
You can purchase DDF Ultra-Lite Oil-Free Moisturizing Dew on www.ddfskincare.com, Sephora.com or Skinstore.com for $40.
We give DDF's Ultra-Lite Oil-Free Moisturizing Dew a B because it is a pretty good, lightweight and non-greasy facial moisturizer for people with normal to slightly oily skin. That said, we had to deduct points because it is pretty expensive for a basic moisturizer that hardly contains any antioxidants. Additionally, it is formulated with wax and thickeners, which could cause acne-prone skin to breakout.
Pros
Cons
DDF's Ultra-Lite Oil-Free Moisturizing Dew has received excellent feedback from customers on Sephora (4.5/5 out of 722 reviews) and on Buzzillions (4.6/5 out of 45 reviews). However, Paula Begoun, a skincare and cosmetics expert who conducts reviews on products using scientific research, isn't a fan. She doesn't believe that this is a good moisturizer for those with acne-prone skin due to the amount of wax and thickeners in the product. I have sensitive, acne-prone skin and would have to agree that this wasn't the best moisturizer for my face. I went through one bottle of it a few years ago, and I probably wouldn't try it again. Ms. Begoun also states that the antioxidant content is almost negligible, but that it could be an "okay" product for normal to slightly oily skin. That said, customer feedback is really high, so it might be worth a try if you can afford it.
