Which tent is the lightest?
A:
One-person bivy sacks will be the lightest tents available (less than 1 lb.), but they aren't nearly as comfortable as structured tents. In general for backpacking trips, we'd suggest trying to find a tent that has a carrying weight of 2 pounds or less per person.
