Binoculars' "eye relief" refers to how far you must hold the binoculars away from your eyes in order to use them. If you wear glasses, you should look for binoculars that have at least a 15mm eye relief. If the eye relief is very low, it could lead to eye strain even if you have healthy eyes. On the flip side, binoculars with higher eye relief will have a smaller field of view at 1000 yards. Therefore, the best thing to do is to test out some different binoculars to determine the lowest comfortable eye relief for your eyes in order to give you the widest field of view.
