Regardless of style or finish, all the Forté® kitchen faucets are built with solid brass for durability and feature smooth, simple lines and an low arching spout for a classic, yet modern feel that will look great in any kitchen. The K-10433 meets CalGreen requirements for kitchen faucets and will fit single- or three-hole sinks in a deckplate or non-deckplate mount since it comes with an optional escutcheon plate. The K-10433 has a single lever handle mounted behind the spout, and, although it is the only model in the collection that isn’t ADA-compliant, it does utilize the same ceramic disc valves (the best and most durable valve material). These high quality valves will allow for more precise control over water temperature and flow rate for years to come. For original owners of the K-10433 manufactured after January 1, 1997, Kohler offers a lifetime limited warranty so long as the faucet was installed in North America and has been used in a normal residential setting. Kohler also guarantees the faucets to be free of defects in material and workmanship (not application for gold, non-Vibrant® and non-chrome finishes). Please note that you must have proof of purchase (original sales receipt) to make any warranty claims.

Bonus Features
The K-10433 is designed with ergonomics and functionality in mind. It features a pullout sprayhead with an easy-to-clean MasterClean™ sprayface. The sprayhead utilizes Kohler’s nylon hose and ball joint technology called Promotion™, so it is quiet and easy to maneuver around the sink. Additionally, it has a touch pad that allows you to pause the flow of water or adjust the flow from spray to aerated mode. The K-10433 also features a high temperature limit setting to protect you from scalding water, as well as a temperature memory setting that allows you to turn the water on and off at the same temperature. The faucet has a maximum flow rate of 2.2 gallons per minute (gpm), but you have the option of purchasing low flow kits (separately) that can reduce maximum flow to 1.5 gpm or 1.8 gpm. Lastly, the K-10433 also has a matching soap/lotion dispenser, and a deep roughing-in kit available for purchase.
From the pullout sprayhead, you can pause the water flow or switch between spray and aerated mode.

Style and Design
Kohler's best-selling Forté® collection encompasses a wide range of kitchen and bathroom faucets, so it is a great option if you want your home to have matching fixtures. Within kitchen faucets, Forté® offers eight different models to fit any individual customer’s needs, style and budget. The Forté® faucets not only vary in size and handle type/placement, but also in terms of the existence/placement of sprayers and escutcheon plates. The K-10433 is the most popular model in the Forté® collection. It has a single lever handle that is attached on top of the spout and, like all models in the collection, its spout can rotate 180°. The faucets are available in five different finishes that have been specially designed by Kohler to make the fixtures more resistant to corrosion and tarnishing. The finish options include polished chrome, brushed chrome, vibrant brushed nickel, vibrant stainless and vibrant brushed bronze.

Customer Feedback
The Kohler Forté® K-10433 kitchen faucet is the most popular model in the Forté® collection, but it has gotten some mixed feedback from reviewers online with some customers absolutely loving the faucet and others who were disappointed with the faucet’s quality. It has received a 4.5/5 on Faucet.com (184 reviews), a 3.5/5 on Amazon.com (182 reviews) and a 4.7/5 on Efaucets.com (60 reviews). In general, the negative reviews on the K-10433 were mainly centered on the faucet’s manufacturing quality, specifically issues with leaks. Some customers were also annoyed that the touch pad buttons seemed to break very easily. With that said, it seems like most customers were really happy with their faucet. At such a great price and with Kohler’s lifetime limited warranty, I think it would be tough to find a better kitchen faucet than the Forté® K-10433, especially if your household is on a budget. Kohler also offers so many different styles and finishes for fixtures in their Forté® collection that you can coordinate your kitchen fixtures with your bathroom ones to create more design cohesion within your home.
